Represents the Kainga and the collective interests of beneficiaries as a result of the Wai 62 Claim settled with the Crown in 2005. These include the Group interests of Ngati Tuwharetoa (BOP) Settlement Trust (NTST), Ngati Tuwharetoa Custodian Trustee Company Limited (NTCTCL), Ngati Tuwharetoa Holdings Limited (NTHL) and Ngati Tuwharetoa Geothermal Assets Limited (NTGA).
Tuwharetoa Kawerau area of interest (as defined in our deed of settlement) extends along the East Coast from Otamarakau to Matata, and includes the Rangitaiki plains, Edgecumbe, Kawerau through to Matahina in the South.
